It's been a decade since the movie "The Hundred Foot Journey" came out. We saw it then and I just watched it again. What a marvelous film!
It's about a family from India that moves to France and opens up a restaurant across the street from a Michelin-starred restaurant run by a character played by the great Helen Mirren. She at first resents the new establishment in her neighborhood, fearing it will detract from her classy place.
But a lot goes on between the families of the two restaurants and what results is heart warming and wondrous. Seek this movie out and give it a watch. You won't regret it.
